BLACK TEA "MASALA CHAI"

Traditional Indian loose-leaf Masala Chai. Real black tea and aromatic spices – cardamom, cinnamon and cloves – make an intense, spicy infusion with an unmistakable scent and taste. Lovely on its own or with milk and sugar, as in the classic Indian recipe.

Black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves. No added flavourings. May contain traces of nuts.

Sweet spices and cinnamon

Contains caffeine.

Classic

Use 2 g of tea (about 1 teaspoon) for 250 ml of freshly boiled water (100°C).
Steep for 3 minutes, then strain and serve.

Masala chai, the traditional Indian way:

Bring 25 ml of water to the boil. Add ¾ teaspoon of sugar and about 4–5 g of tea (¾ tablespoon).
When it starts to boil, add 75 ml of hot milk and bring it briefly back to the boil.
Take off the heat, let it rest for a moment, strain and serve.
